New Blog Format

Some of you may have noticed that I'm failing to post as frequently as someone with a blog should. So I am adding some structure to my blog to encourage me to post at least three times per week and give you more content to read.

Mondays: I will post either an interview with a writer (professional, aspiring, hobbyist) or with someone somehow related to writing. In the event that I don’t have an interview, I will post a profile of a writer that I have not had the pleasure of interviewing. Otherwise, I will use Monday as a wildcard day and post anything I like.

Wednesdays: I will post about something that I am reading, or have read, or would like to read. A writer should always be reading!

Fridays: I will post updates on my own writing progress, what I’ve been writing, any successes or failures, etc. Or I may post different writing exercises that have helped me through the years.

If I post on any other day, or post multiple times on one day, well, that’s just a bonus.

I hope to have this new format up and running by at least the beginning of July. So stay tuned!

Hey! I was just thinking about you (and how quiet you've been) a few minutes ago. So good to hear from you!

This really does help. I am not consistent with what I blog on certain days but it helps me to know that on Tuesdays I can briefly mention 2 things for my Tuesday Two. I sometimes do Thankful Thursday or Friday Friends or Five Things on Friday.

Mostly it's a matter of having a starting point.

Good luck! And how is Suite 101 going for you?

Thanks Joyce! I knew I needed something to help me keep blogging, so I'll try this new format for awhile and see if it works.

Suite 101 is ok... I got my first payment from them, which is good, but my articles keep getting "red flagged" because the section editor doesn't like my style, or something, so I don't know if I want to write for them anymore.

Sometime this week I was going to e-mail you about being an interviewee on my blog, if you're still interested.
