I am writing this from my iGoogle homepage!
A few weekends ago, I attended the Speak Up, Write Out media summit at Gettysburg College. I attended three different panels - one on interview skills, one on how to find media-related jobs, and one on community journalism (plus I had a really delicious lunch with fresh fruit and an iced-chocolate brownie..mmm.)
One of the panelists mentioned iGoogle and how useful it is for keeping all of your social networking tools in one place. I have been using iGoogle as my homepage for years, but I never considered it professionally useful. I just liked to get some news updates and see the word of the day.
I've spent the past few minutes re-designing my iGoogle with facebook, twitter and blogger apps. I think this is going to make my life so much easier!
Has anyone else found usefulness in iGoogle??
