I can't help but get a good laugh out of this one, you scofflaws! Scoundrels! Trespassing troublemakers!:-D
Call me odd, but whenever I see a response like that of Russell Gaus, it peaks my interest, and I begin to conjecture as to what kind of a person this might be. In this manner, my brain can get around what would make someone take the time to write a letter to the editor regarding the picture that adorned the storyline.I took the time to Google the name...he lives in Newville. The rest is conjecture on my part, and, well.....you just don't want to know! LOL
Laurel, that was our reaction, too! Haha.Kathy, I also wonder what kind of person would take the time to write a letter like this. I'm guessing it is someone very passionate about railroad safety...???If it is in fact true that "railroad rights of way are private property and trespassing on railroad property is punishable by law" then maybe someone does need to put the word out there because no one I know has ever heard that standing on or crossing over train tracks was a criminal offense!
