Journaling, Creativity, and Happiness

Ever want to renew your source of energy and feel like a kid again?

This is what happened to me when I completed Mari McCarthy's Start Journaling and Change Your Life in 7 Days Challenge earlier this spring.

I had no expectations of the challenge other than getting back into a regular writing routine again, which I've let slip a lot over the past few years.  I never expected such positive mental and physical results.

Mari started a blog tour on April 30, 2012 that lasts till May 25, 2012, to promote this book.  This post about the blog tour also features a video testimonial starring...me!

Now I'm interested in researching more about the physiological and mental benefits of journaling, creativity, and happiness.  These are some books I plan to read on the subject:

The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron
The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Anchor
Imagine: How Creativity Works by Jonah Lehrer

There are also plenty of academic journal articles on the subject.  Do you have any book or article recommendations on the topics of journaling, creativity, and happiness?
