This is what happened to me when I completed Mari McCarthy's Start Journaling and Change Your Life in 7 Days Challenge earlier this spring.
I had no expectations of the challenge other than getting back into a regular writing routine again, which I've let slip a lot over the past few years. I never expected such positive mental and physical results.

Now I'm interested in researching more about the physiological and mental benefits of journaling, creativity, and happiness. These are some books I plan to read on the subject:
